i took a heavy duty glad baggie....took the maf off, put the baggy over the hole, and clamped the baggy on. i have an air compressor air spray nozzle thing that fits quite nicely in the smaller vacuum hoses. so i hooked it up to my boost gauge and turned the reg down and set it to a safe psi to make sure i didnt blow anything up (sic) and then hooked it up to the fuel dampener vacuum line since its only one end...found two vacuum leaks...and yes they were vacuum leaks not boost leaks...get creative and innovative and save some money
